What is AudioPilot?
AudioPilot is a portable electronic device that connects to the Garmin navigator (GNS 4/500 and GTN 6/700)  and tactfully plays mission critical alerts to improve safety and situational awareness. Voice Alerts let the pilot know key information during flight: new messages on the screen, annunciation of upcoming waypoints, loss of GPS accuracy, check gear/flap annunciations, etc. The second key feature, Audio Guidance, plays a stereo tone in each side of the headset for lateral and horizontal guidance when on GPS or ILS approaches. Simply follow the tone to stay on course.  On approach it alerts you to localizer/approach track and glideslope coming alive, provides both lateral and vertical guidance tones and reminds you to complete your landing checklist.  In short, it acts like a good copilot - unobtrusive but there when you need assistance. We call these features Single Pilot+ for enhanced single pilot IFR operations.

Installation
No one likes to discover hidden costs during installation, that's why we provide everything you need to get up and running. Our installation kit comes with a data harness for ships power and GPS/ILS ARINC 429 output. On average, installation of the harness should take an avionics shop 3-5 hours. A female LEMO connector is also provided to place a data jack anywhere on your instrument panel.  Before each flight, just plug in AudioPilot and your headset into the LEMO and audio jacks, respectively, and you are ready to go.
