OZ ILS Approach to KTNT

The images at the left show OZ during an ILS approach to KTNT (Dade Collier Transition and Training in Miami, FL) beginning near DEEDS intersection.  Press the PLAY button to start either simulation.  Both can be played simultaneously but the two images are not synchronized and represent two different flights.

See the OZ Tutorial for the meaning of all the graphic symbols.  Note specifically that the ILS localizer is indicated by a vertical blue line and the ILS glide slope is indicated by a row of X's across the screen (which change color when passing through the horizon line).  When the vertical blue line and the row of X's are both centered the aircraft is on course and glidepath.

The upper video uses the traditional blue over brown background but limits the contrast of some of the OZ symbology.  The lower video uses a black background that provides more contrast for the OZ symbology.  This is compatible with a very wide field of view Synthetic Vision background.  See the OZ Images page for an artist's mockup of OZ wide FoV SV.
